When you think of luxury, expensive cars like Rolls Royce and Bentley, you imagine they would cost the most. True. But compared to this exotic beast of a car that is nothing worth mentioning! You could easily buy more than 20 Bentleys for the price of the world’s most expensive automobile. Impressed? So are we!
This is Lamborghini Veneno (derives from the Italian word “venom”) and is a limited edition supercar that boasts staggering power: its 740 horsepower engine can produce a top speed of 355 kph. According to the manufacturer, this motor can accelerate to 100 kph (62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds!
But my, the privilege of owning the Veneno comes along with a fabulous bill—the roadster goes for an astonishing $4.5 million. Of course, the Veneno is more about making a splash than making a profit. Lamborghini has only produced nine of these cars and probably, that is enough, as there are not so many people who can afford them.
